With other implementing partners, we were honored to host a visit from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), where they had the opportunity to witness the remarkable strides achieved in the implementation of the Joint Programme on Girls Education (JPGE) in Dedza district .
This visit served as a platform to showcase the pivotal role that Norwegian support through UNICEF Malawi has empowered communities to support education of both in-school and out of school children, adolescent Boys and Girls.
Within the JPGE programming, DCT is complementing Malawi Government efforts by supporting functionality of primary school learner councils, school and community governance structures.
This strategy is to enhance coordination and urgency to improve education outcomes through transparent and accountable processes
